Reliance Industries is planning to set up a new greenfield refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat. The proposed refinery is to be located at Special Economic Zone in Jamnagar. The refinery will have a capacity of 30 million tpa and will entail an investment in the range of Rs. 250,000 million. The project is a part of the company’s original plan to set up around 8-9 SEZs across the country, from Punjab to Karnataka and from West Bengal to Gujarat.
The project is still in the conceptual stage and further details may be known at a later stage.
