Project Details : The port is executing projects such as deepening of the port channel to 12.8 mtr (from 10.7 m), construction of shallow-water jetty and mechanisation of cargo berths, will yield an additional capacity of 12 MT. The port capacity will be increased by 22 MT by arch 2010 from the existing 22.81 MT.
