Hindustan Petroleum Corporation has announced various new projects in Gujarat worth Rs.36,800 million. The projects include

* Cross Country Product Pipeline with an investment of Rs.5,500 million.

* Additional product tankages with an investment of Rs.200 million.

* Addition of 50 Retail outlets in Gujarat and modernization of existing outlets with an investment of Rs.1,000 million.

* Setting up 6 daughter stations for auto LPG, CNG with an investment of Rs.100 million and

* Crude Oil Terminal at Mundra & crude pipeline from Mundra to Bhatinda with an investment of Rs.30,000 million.

As of February 2007, the projects are still in the planning stage and the company has just signed an MoU with state government of Gujarat.
